South African Malcolm Lange wins Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010
South African Malcolm Lange wins Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010 ahead of South African champion Christoff van Heerden (second) followed by South African Daryl Impey (third) due to a brilliant team strategy.
Remember my picture of 32 km remaining yesterday?
Well, seems that was a good intuition as it’s here where the grand finale over 109 kms was decided today in the early morning hours: the decisive break of 12 riders moved clear of the large peloton just before the climb towards Chapman’s Peak Drive. . . and while these pictures are straight from my camera, they show the first batch that zoomed through… and those were the ones! I think the camera on the motor bike in the background is directed towards Lance Armstrong in red and black on position 6… but that’s just a guess (but I have the close-up too…). Proudly South African in any case… YEBO GO GO!
South African Malcolm Lange wins Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010
When I perceived the faint vibration of the first helicopter this morning, I knew it was time to secure a place along Noordhoek Main Road to catch the first batch of the Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010 racers – amongst them without any doubt Lance Armstrong, who won the Tour de France 7 times in a row and is definitely the center of (media) attraction in Cape Town right now – … and so it was!
Due to severe crosswinds they arrived later than in years before, but zoomed passed the early cheerers, supporters and fans who were having family-wise power breakfasts along the road and were definitely enjoying themselves…
Lance Armstrong on Twitter
While I was still down there taking pictures of the “new generation”, world cycling superstar Lance Armstrong was already on Twitter – so to speak straight after the race:
“Argus Cycle Tour done! What a cool ride/race. Congrats to @darylimpey on gettin’ 3rd. Wind was howling out there.”
It was a beautiful day for the world’s largest timed cycle race … and it was pretty windy, although luckily not as strong as back in 2009 when just about 50% of the field managed to finish.

It’s the night before tomorrow. . . and Noordhoek is ready for the cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010!
Noordhoek ready for Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010
Earlier today, I hopped out with my camera to see if Noordhoek was ready for the Cape Argus Cycle Tour – and all I saw were those distance shields as you see above!
It had considerably cooled down after the heatwave and there was a light drizzle . . . perhaps the best preparation after all! Later in the afternoon the air was abuzz with helicopters and I knew the real thing had started.
From Noordhoek it’s exactly 32 kms to the finishing line in Cape Town and as of tomorrow morning everything here will be closed off – no traffic other than those 35,000 + cyclists zooming past! You better don’t be in a hurry to get to the airport! There will be tons of fans, drummers and cheerers lining the streets, offering water and shouting encouragements for the strenuous part ahead!
What always amazes me is how well everything is organized! Once the cyclists are through it’s paper cups and empty bottles literally everywhere… and the next morning there is absolutely nothing! It’s all perfectly clean and back to normal: South Africans deserve a huge round of applause for the way they pull things together and make events so special!
The 2010 Soccer World Championship in June will be memorable – garanteed!
Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010 in Noordhoek on Google Top 10
Talking of races. . . the biggest and fiercest ones these days take place on the Internet – so here’s some high performance with yesterday’s article “Cape Argus Cycle Tour 2010 in Noordhoek” – it went straight to Google Top 10… first through the finishing line… and this within 5 minutes. Not sure anyone will cycle that fast tomorrow . . .

My earlier post about Book Cover Design triggered immediate feedback. Of course the two samples were smashing and I understand authors who would like to see their work wrapped up in such prestigious way.
I also understand book cover designers to get some insight about how to custom design an eye-catching book cover.

Accommodation Noordhoek (Accomodation Noordhoek)
Accommodation Noordhoek is getting increasingly important as FIFA 2010 approaches, bearing in mind that Noordhoek is just about 30 miles away from Cape Town, the Mother City, where the music plays – with or without the Soccer World Cup by the way. So anyone to do with Accomodation in Noordhoek or anywhere else in South Africa focuses on high rankings to capture a maximum of potential clients NOW.
Here we just use the example of the charming “De Noordhoek Hotel” to test the efficiency of Semiomantics Scripts in combination with proper Editing and Publishing. Our first post 7 hours ago brought us several positions on page 3, now we will compete for more.
In our previous article we went into how the power of Healing Sounds enhances and Boosts our Immune System and how the Knowledge we accumulated over time lead to Scientific Research and … Sound Therapy
Sound Therapy on Nutrinsider Daily
Sound is an important element of our everyday life: just think of the people surrounding you, repulsing or attracting you: how do you react to their Voices? How does it feel to be in their company? How do you resonate? Do you smile when they address you and why? Is it because they are vibrant and have a sparkle in their voice?
Being exposed to the right Voice – and with it the right vibration – can make a big difference in your day!
Think of how actors and politicians use and modulate their voices – there’s a whole industry connected to this as in today’s public spotlights and the media the Voice plays a prime role, it needs to be trained to please, mesmerize, convince, persuade, market, sell and… command. History has shown glorious as well as disastrous examples all connected to the human voice as an instrument of power and glory.
This phenomenon has lead to important breakthroughs in Hypnosis and especially Sound Therapy – Example: BioWaves Sound Therapy which I find intrigueingly interesting and worth studying without being affiliated or related in any way, so my suggestion is totally independant – as a way of Healing, achieving Balance and Emotional Health, Managing Stress and Increasing Energy.
Effects of Sound
From the above we see that the Effects of Sound can be both positive and healing… as they can be destructive.
Nurseries play Mozart or Vivladi as the plants grow better… and I speak with my plants every day… I even sing :)
Gorgi Lazanoff, the Bulgarian Psychiatrist, demonstrated an increased capacity for learning by playing Baroque music from Vivaldi, Bach, Haendel or Telemon… and he taught his students to breathe in rhythm with the beat.
Today we know that we learn and create with much more ease when on the Alpha level – if not beyond. That’s another big topic for another day … however:
All this makes perfect sense because everything, ultimately, is vibration. Both Modern Physics and Ancient Science agree on this. The Effects of Sound – Healing Sounds and Music – have a profound effect on our general health and Wellness – physically, mentally and emotionally.
Healing Sounds of Hugh Masekelea
South Africa: Healing Sounds of Hugh Masekela
Let me end this Chapter today with a brilliant musician from South Africa – with “Healing Sounds of Hugh Masekela” in his latest album, Phola, which means “to heal”:
The Phola album, says the jazz-musician, is also “a dream and a prayer” for Africa.
“It’s time to be focused on things that bring joy and healing to people.”
A worthy message to the whole world as… Joy equals Antiaging… it transcends Time and Space!
This Second Part of Make Money with Twitter deals with Automation, while the First Part took care of Customization of our Twitter Account.
Twitter Automation 1: Auto-responder
How about an Auto-responder which automatically sends a welcome message to all your new follower?
Let’s set it up with TweetLater. Join TweetLater, it’s a free program. Set up your account and enter your Twitter Accounts. You may just copy my setup:
To Make Money with Twitter, you need to associate a commercial link to this Tweet, for example an affiliate link, or a link to a product page.
For the purpose of the exercise I use the following Message:
Thanks for the following! Interested in growing your Twitter following, on auto pilot? Click here: http://yorgonestoridis.com/yorgo-nestoridis-social-media/make-money-on-twitter-part-1/
Twitter Automation 2: Twitter Blaster Mail Automation
The Twitter Blaster Script I am using on Social Network Publishing is ideal for receiving keyword related Digests. Such Digests can be received every 4, 12 or 24 hours.
Onder other tools on TweetLater you find a Digest Mailing function. Use the keyword Wizard to create the keyword(s) of your digest and select the interval.
Make sure to change your TweetLater email address to the email address you use on the Twitter Blaster. Here below the settings on TweetLater and Twitter Blaster:
TwitterAutomation 3: Autofollow People on Twitter
Twitter is cleaning out by discontinuing its own autofollow feature and maybe also by sanctioning people using automated following with tools such as Twollo. Autofollow tools are considered “disingenuous”. So, don’t use those tools.
We will not enter any further into this topic here but we will explain how you can automate relation building further at the Ycademy Online Seminar this week-end.
For the record, here below the wording of Biz Stone’s mail to Autofollow users:
Hi There,
I’m contacting you because you have a Twitter account for which
we enabled something called “autofollow.” This is not a public
feature, it’s something we did for a limited set of accounts
such that they automatically follow any account that follows
them.
We’re going to discontinue autofollow because this behavior
sends the wrong message. Namely, it is unlikely that anyone can
actually read tweets from thousands of accounts which makes
this activity disingenuous.
However, we understand that there may be exceptions such as
applications built using our API or the ability to exchange
direct messages. There are also some who think it’s simply
polite to follow back other accounts.
While we’re going to stop supporting autofollow, we’d like to
find a way to support the other goals folks are really trying
to accomplish. Please feel free to reply to this email and let
us know how we can do this better together.
If there has been a celebrity who caught worldwide attention during 30 years, it’s Michael Jackson. Never before, nor since, a singer was able to create a buzz like Thriller.
Michael Jackson’s Last Buzz
Michael Jackson’s death hit the internet like a bomb: the WWW went just on slow motion, even large sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Within minutes the news was out all over the world before the big news agencies and news networks started broadcasting the breaking news; once more the Internet had become the ultimate source for the latest headlines.
Michael Jackson’s death on Google
Of course for the last 8 hours about Google’s top spots are monopolized by the big boys who throw all their publishing power into the game. As the news come in at a high pace, it’s about impossible for us small publishers to grab a spot with high visibility.
Semiomantics in the Race
Just midnight here in Europe we had been informed about the upcoming Buzz. We thought of testing our means by just publishing a three lines announcement about the death of Michael Jackson. As publishers we had two objectives: first to test Semiomantics while the biggest buzz on the Internet since Obama’s election lasted and then to feed the news through our channels to social networks, Tweeter and Facebook. We will report at a later stage about the behavior of the feed on Social Networks.
Moments of Success
Surprisingly we could see our post on Google almost instantly, however the glory did not last for long. Within about 15 minutes we disappeared again and for good. The buzz created overload and for hours our server’s performance was compromised. In fact we only fully recovered YORGOO Publishing this morning.
The time to take a few screen shots and the game was over:
Michael Jackson Dead on Google
Here above YORGOO is in good company as you can see.
Michael Jackson Died at 50 on YORGOO Publishing
Michael Jackson Died at 50
Even on the narrow search we could detect YORGOO Publishing, just before the server went down.
The Good News
Even small publishers can participate in the buzz and gain visibility and traffic.
The Bad News
The Big Buzz requires a solid infrastructure; we went out there with the shared Chi server, which proved to be insufficient for the purpose. The dedicated YORGOO main Server just slowed down but did not disappear from the radar. But even there the load became too big to perform normally.
The Worst News
Michael Jackson has passed away. His Music however will remain alive.
As we have reported earlier on YORGOO Publishing, Michael Jackson died earlier today in Los Angeles.
The Last Thriller
Like the Thriller back in 1982, Michael Jackson’s death will move people, not just in LA to gather in front of the Hospital but also online. The buzz is on on Twitter and Facebook and the controversial celebrity just demonstrates: it’s not because you died that you are dead.
Michael Jackson Dead at 50
Michael Jackson beyond Death
In spite all the controversies, Michael Jackson remains an icon, probably the most popular American worldwide. Over a quarter of a billion albums sold and a sold out tour of 50 concerts starting this summer in London show the loyalty of a huge fan community.
May be we will listen differently to Michael Jackson’s songs now.
